Private 37523 of Yorkshire Regiment, UK. Died 23rd June 1918, age 23. Grave / Memorial Ref: 876 at Cloughton Church Cemetery, North Yorkshire Private 203155 of Durham Light Infantry, UK. Died 4th Apr 1918, age 36 Grave / Memorial Ref: P.IX.Q.4A at St Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen. William was born in Darlington to Thomas & Mary Trattles. Between 1891-1891 he lived in Ruswarp Yorkshire. In 1911 he was a pharmacist and living in Wandsworth, London. He married Minnie Kate Goodwin in 1913 He enlisted in the 5th battalion DLI on 31 Jul 1916. He died following wounds received.
